THE FINAL FOUR!!

Okay, this is old news. Well for all you dedicated viewers of the Voice it is but I have been busy and I am sure there are some people who have not watched it yet. So here are the final four.

You can start voting for your favourites staring ... NOW!!! On Sunday the Final of the Voice will be playing in which all four of the remaining competitors will perform not one, but two performances. Double the performances means double the fun. After this final show you will have roughly 12 hours to keep voting. Who knows maybe there Sunday night performances will even change there mind. On Monday the WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED!!!

NOTE : As promised the Team Delta and Team Seal overviews will be posted soon. Since there is only one person left in each team, the posts will also include information about the last person who left the team. You can expect the posts to be posted tomorrow afternoon. I would post them today but I am busy and tired. Sorry!

The Voice Breaks The Rule

Tonight as expected, 2 people will leave Team Keith and 2 people will leave Team Joel but that is not all. As briefly stated in ads and fully explained just now, on A Current Affair the competitors will be weeded down to just 4. The competitors left, after the Team Keith and Team Joel elimanations will be battling out on stage. And then just like in the battle rounds the coaches will pick who goes through. Personally I think this is unfair. I mean isn't the whole point of the live nights is to have the public decide. The Voice host has stated that The Voice is breaking the rules and he is saying that it is a good thing. I am sorry but I really disagree with this. Some rules are not meant to be broken.

ONLY 4 WILL BE LEFT AND THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VOTE!!!

The Voice Free Booklet - Woman's day

Okay, well I am to young for Woman's Day but The Voice does appeal to all ages. So for you women who read Woman's Day or who are old enough to do so you may be interested in the next issue, which will include a free voice booklet. The booklet is supposed to include informatation about all 4 coaches as well as pictures from their personal photo albums. The issue is also set to include a full sized article about Keith Urban's relationship with Nicole Kidman. The story is entitled We're Crazy In Love. Woman's day has been known to do interviews and stories about The Voice, with Delta Goodrem also doing an exculsive interview with them.

Voting closes in one hour so if you want your favourites to get through you will have to vote. Two people will be leaving Team Joel and two will be leaving Team Keith. You can vote using text, call, facebook or iTunes. You will all need to get your last minute votes in soon. It will be revealed who was voted through tonight at 7:30pm on Channel 9. One person will go through, due to public vote and the other will be picked by there coach.

TEAM KEITH - PART 2

Hi loyal blog readers and voice fans. This is Part 2 of the Team Keith overview. Scroll down or use the sidebar to find part 1 of this overview. Also just reminding you that I will also be doing an overview for Team Delta and Team Seal. These overviews will be done after this Monday night's performance. I hope all my overview's help you learn about the teams.

Darren singing "I Believe"

DARREN PERCIVAL                                                            
Age : 40
Last performance : For his last performance Darren sang "I Believe". As always he wowed the coaches and audience with his pitch perfect singing and emotion packed voice. As has been said before (by Ricki Lee) Darren shows great joy when he sings.
Public opinion : Darren has a rating of 5 stars (out of 5) and is currently number 10 on the iTunes chart. This is not the first time Darren has made it into the top 10 on iTunes. Although shows like these normally see young stars being favoured Darren has proved that age is no boundary, if you have the voice.
My opinion : Although Darren isn't usually the type of person I listen to or the type of person I favour on shows like these, I have enjoyed his performances. I believe it is great to see someone above the age of 25, making it big in the music and reality Tv sector. I really do wish Darren the best in this competition.
Fun fact : Darren went to performing arts school and has been making a career of doing pub gigs and back-up vocaling for the past 22 years.

Brittany singing Different Worlds

BRITTANY CAIRNS
Age : 19
Last performance : For her last performance Brittany sang Straight Lines By Silverchair. Her and Keith were hoping to show a different side of her but the performance did not go as well as they had hoped. Brittany later admitted on the Voice website that she felt to much out of her comfort zone, when she was on stage, despite being excited before hand.
Public opinion : Brittany has a rating of 5 stars (out of 5) on the Voice website. Her latest performance is not on the iTunes chart but a couple weeks back, her brilliant verison of Different Worlds was number 1 on the iTunes chart for almost one week. Brittany is being loved by the public but with a disappointing last subject, will she make it through tomorrow night?
My opinion : Brittany truly does have an amazing sweet voice. I was extremly pleased when Brittany won her battle rounds and I do believe that she could win the competition.
Fun fact : Brittany was scared to perform on a stage until she made the school band in Year 10. This helped build her confidence and her love of jazz and blues.

Tomorrow night 2 people will leave Team Keith so you will have to vote for your favourites if you want to see them get through. I hope these posts helped you learn about Team Keith.

Diana - Why she changed her look

Long haired, feminine Diana Rouvas dramitacally changed her hair cut and general style going into the live nights. On the Voice website Diana revealed why she made the dramatic change. Diana got her hair cropped short straight after the battle rounds. Diana admitted that everyone was really surpirised when she cut her hair and quite skeptical about the new look. She said that once they got use to it they began to love it. Diana siad she loved her new hair because it could be classic, or edgy or sheik.

 "I used to have short hair a really long time ago, about four years ago. It took me forever to grow it out, but I always liked it short".

Rumoured Romance

Adam Martin and Emma Louise Birdsall

Although I have tried to base this blog on fact, I could not resist doing a post about the rumoured romance, between two of the particapants. Although Adam Martin and Emma Louise Birdsall are from different teams it has been said that the two have been hanging out and flirting. Although Emma has left the competition it has been said that the two will continue to see each other. Adam was recently grilled on popular news show A Current Affair. Adam said "I don't even know what the situation is, we don't know what the situation is. We enjoy hanging out with each other, we are very close, we click on a lot of things, we like music." It has been made apparent by the pair that the two are not boyfriend and girlfriend yet, but who knows maybe the two will pair off soon. Adam also said "We are enjoying each other's company. We like watching movies and playing music and having a good time, but it's just too early for ourselves to even know," It sounds as if they two have been on dates but that they, themselves have not decided if they want to make the relationship more serious.

TEAM KEITH - PART 1

Okay, well a while back - yesterday - I did posts/overviews about Team Joel and I briefly mentioned how I was going to do the same thing for the other teams. This post is going to be an overview of Team Keith. Team Keith currently has 4 people left but will lose 2 people this Monday. So just like Team Joel will you have to vote to keep your favourites in.

Diana singing in the battle rounds

DIANA ROUVAS
Age : 28
Last performance : Last performance Diana sang "I Can't Make You Love Me". In contrast to her other live night performance which was a power packed rendition of "Love On Top", the performance was emotion filled. The coaches were almost in tears, due to Diana's strong emotion.
Public opinion : Diana has a rating of 5 stars (out of 5) on The Voice website. She is currently 35th of the iTunes charts. Diana was not a big hit in the auditions or battle rounds but after her first live night performance her popularity suddenly skyrocketed.
My opinion : Just like many other people I was not impressed or wowed by Diana's earlier performances but once she entered the live nights I began to see our she really does have a lot of talent. Diana is only getting better and I hope she continues to improve her performances.
Fun fact : Diana is the daughter of two singing teachers. She has been singing since she was 4 and writing songs since she was 8.

Adam's audition 

ADAM MARTIN
Age : 24
Last performance : Last performance Adam sang 'Romeo and Juliet". Although Seal said that he wanted to see more of Adam's style, the other coaches seemed to love the performance. Delta even said that  "I felt like it was like you had written it. Everytime you sing I feels as if you have written the song". Adam played guitar in his performance, as he does in most of his performances.
Public opinion : Adam has a rating of 4 and a half stars (out of 5) on the Voice website. Adam is also currently 46th on the iTunes charts. Adam was not really talked about much in the earlier parts of the competition but after his first live night performance he became much more popular.
My opinion : Adam Martin shone in his first live night performance when he sang "Lonely Boy", By The Black Keys. Adam has proved that he could even win this show.
Fun fact: Adam was brought up in a family theatre company, as one of 7 kids. He has been performed for nearly as long as he can remember.
